Sunday, March 14th, 2010Trappist Beer Dinner
Saturday, March 6th, 2010The first big beer dinner for 2010 will feature brews from at least five of the seven Trappist breweries in the world. The dinner will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2010.
At least two of these will be offered on draught. Featured breweries include Rochefort, Westmalle, Konigshoeven, Orval, and Chimay.
Cost for five dishes and the beer is $85.

Continuing with our summer of Pennsylvania breweries, July features Stoudt’s Brewing, one of the first microbrewries in Pennsylvania since prohibition, from Adamstown. Come sample ales selected by Eddie Stoudt himself and delicacies from the Farmhouse kitchen.

From the western part of the state comes Voodoo Brewing. Matt Allyn has been doing some great things out there since 2007. Here’s a chance to try a hot up and coming brewery.
