Award-winning Farmhouse Restaurant announces new Chef

The Farmhouse, in Emmaus, has been serving up seasonal, local, organic, sustainable, farm-to-table cuisine for over 20 years. We are pleased to announce our new Chef, Javan Small, will bring his passion, palate, and unique flavor profiles to the table on August 10th.

Born in Misawa, Japan, Javan’s love of food began at an early age when he started his restaurant career in the 10th grade. Javan has trained under world-renowned chefs in both the United States and in Europe. Javan graduated from Johnson & Wales University, Magna Cum Laude, with degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Entrepreneurship, and most notably worked under Chef Lea Linster at her Michelin-rated restaurant in Luxembourg. Chef Javan Small has perfected his craft over the years, favoring European styles and techniques, and embracing the farm to table movement.

Both Chef Javan Small and the Farmhouse are excited to feature menus that will change seasonally, utilizing the freshest local, organic, sustainable, and seasonal products available.

For further information or to make your reservation today, please contact Jolene Mirenna, General Manager, at 610.967.6225 or visit our website www.thefarmhouse.com. The Farmhouse is located at 1449 Chestnut Street, Emmaus, Pa 18049.
